A feast for the senses, the jazz on Septet is luxurious, perfectly executed, cool as all hell. On first listen it seems musically unobtrusive, but there's so much going on under the hood, Kirby just keeps it so tight that you really have to focus to see all the interlocking parts. Move Through It has helped me find calm since it was released. It's been the only thing to cut through the doomscrolling nature of Current Year. The album is an aural 1:1 to its cover art, fusing quiet storm & downtempo bedroom pop with — there's no other way to put this — the most beautiful mumbly shower singing i've ever heard. Expertly crafted and perfectly sequenced, i hope that this warm and comforting breeze of an LP helps you find peace as well. PS. this Mark guy sounds pretty cool matharvest
